CLEAN WATER EXCITED SALIAMUSALA

Clean water excited Saliamusala, Mi’dia, Drabara and Lokajo villages in Kuluba Sub-County, Koboko district North western Uganda. The Siller’s Family in their itinerary visit to the area was moved by the challanges the communities were facing. Neverthirst a charity organization was able to extend the upport to the four communities through featafrica.org.

The Clean water excited Saliamusala, Mi’dia, Drabara and Lokajo after they have suffered drinking contaminated water with animal for more than 200 years. The excitement indicate the joy these communities have because their families would no longer suffer from typhoid, worms. secondly; family violence will reduce because women would no longer travel long distance to the water sources and wait long to draw and transport contaminated water to their homes.

The local Government

The District Water Officer congratulated Siller’s Family, neverthirstwater.org and Feat Africa for the installation of four boreholes to enable these communities access clean water. During the Commissioning function, Koboko District mentioned that there are 102 villages without Safe Water sources. the construction of these boreholes has supported the district by taking away a load on government.
