Desciples Making Movement

Discipleship is a noun describing a personal followers of Jesus Christ. Disciples Making Movement (DMM) is therefore a biblical process, the movement of God for spreading the good news about Jesus. For common purpose, the concepts are basically that; disciples gather themselves into groups that we sometimes call "Home Church" of 12 or 20 to learn about God in the bible. This group can meet anywhere, not only in homes. In some DMMs, groups meet in a tea shop or under a tree, but what matter is that DMM is a group of people who are following Jesus and are committed to Obeying His commands together.

How Does a DMM Start

Everything starts with prayer. Desperately asking God; where do He wants us to GO? What does He want us to DO?

Prayer

Prayer is the most mode of communicating with God. Most christian believe in the importance of spending daily time in God’s word and prayer, many of us struggle to do this consistently. Do not do prayer because other people are doing, not as spiritless led every morning, but do it because God has granted to the world incalculable privilege of fellowship with Him all time.

The Great Commission

We shares the gospel of Jesus and helps people grow in their relationship with God , creating spiritual generations of believers. A disciple is entirely dedicated to a teacher. The relationship goes past being a trainee. They learn to imitate their teacher's life. As Christians, we become disciples, striving to live according to the teachings of Jesus.

The bible said; Jesus left a Great Commission of disciples making movement, before He ascended into heaven; therefore Go and Make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:18-20 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Leadership Training

The Bible do not only gives us examples of spiritual leadership but also principles leadership. While Church leaders don't have military authority of leadership or earn financial incentives like the corporate world leaders does. Where do they find their leadership principles to lead? Seminars, Leadership classes and Excellent books. First of all; church leaders need to look into God's Word.

Leaders are not to oppress and overpower others with their authority, like the Gentiles practiced. Instead, leaders serve others. Jesus demonstrated when He "took the form of a bond-servant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man" He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even death on the cross Philippians 2:7-8.

Train leaders in conviction, character, communication and application of the word. There is the need of training church leaders in South Sudan, Congo and Northern Uganda to clearly revival congregations.

EVERYTHING, EVERYWHERE CHANGES WHEN PEOPLE EXPERIENCE JESUS.
